Maia has long enjoyed a book called Science Verse. I'm pretty sure it's still a little bit old for her in terms of both the pictures and the poems, but it remains an oft requested bedtime book. I had decided that she was mostly into the pictures, but as it turns out, she has been listening as well. Here is a recitation of a few of the poems, performed by our very own Miss Maia. If you want to follow along, the pictures are below.
Sam hasn't been reciting much poetry lately, but he has lots of other skills. He's particularly good at deadpanning and keeping a secret. I didn't realize it earlier, but he's also apparently pretty good at looking like a pirate if you match up the play symbol on the YouTube video with one of his eyes. Why are you still reading this instead of watching the video? Isn't it clear that I'm rambling at this point?

1. CUTE!!! I love hearing Maia read and seeing Sam in action. :)
2. Is Maia wearing a retainer? It kind of sounds like it- ha!
3. Seeing Brad's hand put Sam's bop back in really emphasized how TINY he still is! Seriously- it looks like a giant's hand!
Love the youtube things. Can't believe Maia would be able to rsecite all (or most) of the words so well!! What fun!
And little Sam seems very content with the pacifiers.
I am anxious to see Maia again and to see Sam for my first time! Just too bad you live so far away.
